Details of parental and child’s preferences and dietary requirements are kept up to date and all staff members are made aware.
For parents and carers our four weekly menu is displayed on our welcome board, menus are also emailed out to parents encouraging their involvement in choosing their child’s menu.
Our staff plan regular baking/cooking activities for the children to participate in, helping children to become familiar with food preparation. Discussions also take place around the origin of the food.
Children are encouraged to become aware of the importance of food hygiene.
